La Vendimia is a red wine produced by Bodegas Palacios Remondo in the town of Alfaro (la Rioja Baja). It is a blend of the varieties Tempranillo and Garnacha Tinta. The grape originates from their very own vineyards planted in the Falda del monte Yerga at an altitude 550 meters above sea level. Soils are calcareous clay. For its production, the grape is destemmed and receives a partial carbonic maceration, subsequently the must is fermented for 20 days in stainless steel containers with regular pump overs.
