Ferrer Bobet Vinyes Velles

Ferrer Bobet is a red wine from the D.O. Priorat, coupage of the Carignane, Red Grenache, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. The soil, as occurs in many vineyards in Priorat, is made of llicorella - a type of slate characteristic of the area. The harvest is carried out after a meticulous selection of the grains in the vineyard. These are harvested manually and transported to the winery in small boxes of 10 kilos of capacity, so that the grapes do not break and ferment earlier than they should. Ultimately, Ferrer Bobet rests in French oak barrels for nine months before being bottled.
